Isolation and reactivity of an unusually stable organoselenenyl azide.
The stabilities of a series of isolated covalent selenium(II) azides such as [2-[1-(3,5-dimethylphenyl)-2-naphthyl]-4,5-dihydro-4,4-dimethyloxazole]selenium azide (2a), [2-(4,4-dimethyl-2-oxazolinyl)phenyl]selenenyl azide (3a), [o-(2,6-diisopropylphenyl-iminomethinyl)phenyl]selenenyl azide (4a), [o-(R)-(methylbenzyliminomethinyl)phenyl]selenenyl azide (5a) and o-formylphenylselenenyl azide (6a)...
متن کاملSynthesis and reactivity of a uranyl-imidazolyl complex.
Treatment of [UO(2)(Ar(2)nacnac)Cl](2) with 4 equiv. of Li(C(4)H(5)N(2)) results in the formation of a rare uranyl organometallic complex [Li(MeIm)][UO(μ-O)(Ar(2)nacnac)(μ-C,N-C(4)H(5)N(2))(2)] (2), in moderate yield. Reaction of 2 with 1 equiv. of MCl(2) (M = Fe, Co) yields the bimetallic complexes [MCl(MeIm)][UO(2)(Ar(2)nacnac)(μ-N,C-C(4)H(5)N(2))(2)] (M = Fe, 3; M = Co, 4).
متن کاملSynthesis and structure of the azidogermyliumylidene azide complex [L(N3)Ge:](+)N3- with covalently and ionically bonded azide ligands at germanium(II) [L = bis(N-heterocyclic carbene)].
Starting from the chlorogermyliumylidene chloride salt [L(Cl)Ge:]Cl (1) (L = 1,1'-methylene-3,3'-di-2,6-diisopropyl-phenylimidazole-2,2'-diylidene), the chloride ion can be easily substituted by BPh4 to yield [L(Cl)Ge:]BPh4 (3). Reaction of the latter with NaN3 furnishes [L(N3)Ge:]BPh4 (4). In contrast, the direct reaction of 1 with NaN3 affords exclusively the first azidogermyliumylidene azide...
متن کاملAmbiphilic allenes: synthesis and reactivity.
Ambiphilic allenes are generated by an organocatalyzed domino reaction of alkyl propiolates and aromatic 1,2-diketones; in the absence of any external chemical agent, these allenes perform a thermally-driven dimerization reaction to generate the corresponding fully-substituted cyclobutanes in a regio- and highly stereoselective manner.
متن کاملSynthesis and Reactivity of Triazaphenanthrenes
Pyridonaphthyridines (triazaphenanthrenes) were prepared in 4 steps and in 13-52% overall yield using Negishi cross-couplings between iodopicolines and 2-chloro-pyridylzinc derivatives. After chlorination, Gabriel amination and spontaneous ring-closure, the final aromatization leading to the triazaphenanthrenes was achieved with chloranil. This heterocyclic scaffold underwent a nucleophilic add...
